New Construction
We know that with a little coordination, an energy efficient building has the potential to be healthier and more comfortable than standard construction. That’s why we consider the entirety of the indoor environment. We can support the design to improve indoor air quality and thermal comfort. Existing Buildings
It’s estimated that around 60% of today’s buildings will be still in operation by 2050. At 3West, we are committed to improving our existing stock of buildings. We can help improve a building’s energy efficiency by quantifying the impact and cost of different retrofit alternatives. We provide a comparison of building assembly thermal values, insulation and framing alternatives, thermal bridging reduction, and window and door alternatives, as well as Mechanical, electrical, and water resources equipment. Next, we can asses thermal comfort and indoor air quality by simulation, tracking, analysis, and improvement recommendations. Finally, we can tie the plan together through financial analysis including payback, net present value and other time related financial metrics.
